Alberto Del Rio and Paige Relationship Drama Set To Come To WWE Programming?

Some speculated that Alberto Del Rio and Paige were only together because of the Total Divas reality show that Paige is part of, but that is not the case, according to those close to the pair.
According to wwe online News, due to the two being together, WWE may be pushing for the relationship to be on WWE programming. This angle could be thrown into the Paige/Charlotte rivalry that WWE may be going with after WWE Extreme Rules. The plan very well could be to expose the drama behind the relationship, which could be a very interesting thing to see play out on television.
We all know that Vince loves putting people together onscreen when they have backstage tension because it goes over well on WWE programming more times than not. McMahon has reportedly told writers to come up with some ideas for this storyline. That does not mean we will see the entire thing make it to television, but the fact that Vince is this far with it means something interesting may come out of the situation for wrestling fans.

The Shining Stars def. Scott Jackson & Brian Kennedy

As you may have heard over the last few weeks, Puerto Rico is the shining star of the Caribbean and much better than any town you in the WWE Universe happen to live in. And the tropical paradise’s two chief exports, The Shining Stars — that’s Primo & Epico — made their official arrival on Raw to back up their Caribbean cool with some in-ring skills to go with it. Dubbing the ring their “island,” The Shining Stars handedly dismantled their opponents on the back of Epico’s “Tripleta” suplex combo and, finally the duo’s Shining Star tandem finishing maneuver.

Lilian Garcia Addresses WWE Release Rumors

There were rumors going around online that longtime WWE ring announcer Lilian Garcia was released from WWE along with several other wrestlers. As we noted here on the site on Thursday, rumors of her departure from the company are not true. Garcia took to her Facebook page to shoot down the rumors and here is what she wrote:
Imagine my surprise today when I woke up to find out that I was among the top trends in the world on twitter! What for, I said to myself….wait, does that say “Lilian Garcia released from WWE”?? That’s when I knew I had to set the story straight.
As you know, I have been absent from TV for the past few weeks missing “WWEPayback” & two “WWE Monday Night Raw’s”. I mentioned on twitter that it was due to a family member being ill. Well, that family member is my father.
He has been battling bladder cancer and multiple Myeloma (blood cancer) and due to a reaction to the chemotherapy, he became very ill these past two weeks. On top of that, he had to go into two emergency procedures on his kidneys. To say he has had it tough is an understatement. However, he is a retired Lieutenant Colonel from the US Army, being a Veteran from the Korean and Vietnam Wars, so his spirit is that of a fighter. I am so inspired by how he has taken on this disease and continues to battle it with all his might. He has allowed me to share this story as he hopes his journey will inspire anyone else who is battling cancer. Luckily he is doing much better now and gearing up for a new treatment next week. As you can imagine, my entire family has been through a rollercoaster of emotions and cherishing all the time we have with him. I truly believe in the power of prayer and ask all of you to please pray for him and also my mother. They have been married for 62 years, so you can imagine the bond they share together.
I want to thank all of you for the many messages you have tweeted & FB’d me when you thought I had been released. It truly shows me how much I matter to you, and right now more than ever, I needed to know that. Above all, I want to thank the WWEfor all their support & love during this hard time. They have been constantly checking in on me and also given me the time I needed to get my father strong again. I feel so proud to work for a company that cares so much.
So, on to Monday, I will be back on RAW and couldn’t be happier as I have missed you all very much!! Thank you and I love you!!!
Xoxo,
Lilian

WWE Extreme Rules 2016: 8 Matches We Most Want To See

Sasha Banks Vs. Becky Lynch

The women's division has stalled slightly since WrestleMania. Charlotte and Natalya's match last Sunday was marred by a horrendous finish, and the only other ongoing feud having any attention paid to it is Becky Lynch vs. Emma.
With all due respect to Emma, I feel as though the majority of fans would prefer to see Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch iron out their existing differences in a number one contender's match.
Sasha has a legitimate - and rather heelish - gripe with Becky, given the fact that the Lass Kicker tapped out at 'Mania, costing both women their WrestleMania moment.
This would set up a prime rival for Charlotte heading into the summer, and remind us all that the women's division isn't merely built around the title.

WWE Extreme Rules 2016: 8 Matches We Most Want To See

Anderson and Gallows to make their PPV debut, a Women's Title No. 1 contender match and much more.

At the time of writing, three matches have been officially confirmed for Extreme Rules.
AJ Styles will get a rematch for Roman Reigns' WWE World Heavyweight Championship (this time with no holds barred), the New Day will face off against The Vaudevillains for tag title gold, and Charlotte will again defend her Women's Championship against Natalya, this time in a submission match.
Two further matches seem to be firmly in the works: a fatal four way for Intercontinental gold (Miz vs. Zayn vs. Owens vs. Cesaro) and Rusev vs. US Champion Kalisto.
But what are the other matches we'd most like to see on May 22nd?
Extreme Rules is shaping up to be a worryingly similar card to Payback but, with a few slight changes, WWE can easily put together a card that should impress from both match quality and booking standpoints.
Here are some ways how...
